Role Overview

Acuver Consulting is seeking a proficient IBM Sterling OMS Managing Consultant with 8 to 15 years of relevant work experience. In this hands-on leadership role, you will be instrumental in translating complex business requirements into specific systems and applications. You will lead the design and implementation of Scalable B2C and B2B e-commerce solutions, showcasing deep technical and functional expertise to build client confidence across all project phases 

Technical Leadership: The Modern Stack

Must-Have Proficiency

  • Sterling Ecosystem Mastery: Expert-level knowledge of IBM Sterling OMS (v10.0+, OMOC), including IV, SIP, Global Inventory Visibility (GIV) and Available-to-Promise (ATP) strategies.
  • Modern Architectural Patterns: Proven ability to design and implement services using Java, Spring Boot to augment the OMS platform.
  • Data Strategy: Advanced proficiency in SQL optimization, indexing, and transaction management across Oracle, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB).
  • Methodology Leadership: Mastery of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall frameworks, with the ability to build robust CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Value Additions (Good to Have)

  • Digital Experience: Experience with Node, Angular or React for modernizing microservices, Call Center and Store UI.
  • Cloud-Native Infrastructure: Knowledge of Sterling OMS containerized deployments (Kubernetes/OpenShift).
  • Advanced Modules: Hands-on leadership in implementing IBM Call Center, Store Engagement, and Jasper Reports.
